I had been meaning to try a few recipes from this cookbook for a while now and last night I finally gathered the energy to cook up an Indian feast. I made three dishes from the book that I served with store-bought coriander and garlic Naan breads. It was amazing! Plus it didn't take that much time to make, most ingredients were cheap, and it was really healthy. We will definitely be having more Indian feasts in the near future.
Here's the cookbook in question:

I highly recommend this cookbook. And all the other books from the same collection as a matter of fact. 'The Food of Morocco' is on my Christmas wish list. Just saying...
So I've made:
* Creamy Prawn Curry: a sweet coconut-based shrimp curry made with onions, garlic and spices like clove, cinnamon, cardamom, and turmeric.

* Chole Chaat: A mashed chickpea stew made with tomatoes, onions, and spices like coriander, turmeric, garam masala, and cumin.

* Rice Pulao: I did not follow an exact recipe for this one but used the recommendations from the Rice & Grain section of the book.
